This Baby’s Crying Stops When He Hears STAR WARS ‘Imperial March’

Is the Force strong with your infant? Does it cause him or her to awaken, but not in a badass-Rey sorta way, but more like an “It’s 3:00 in the morning and I just want to sleep but this kid is already pushin’ out another Count Dooku” sorta way? Well, we may have a fix for that…

Enter the Dark Side…

YouTube user Micah Hayman—who we can only assume is a Sith Lord—recently uploaded the above video of his very cute yet very cranky baby being near-instantly quelled by the sounds of John Williams‘ “Imperial March.” And much like Chewbacca on a rampage, it’s simultaneously adorable and frightening.

If you’ve never heard “Imperial March” (we know you have), it’s that score first heard in The Empire Strikes Back, which plays anytime Darth Vader is about to come into the scene and dominate with some force-chokin’, lightsaber-wieldin’, who’s-yo-daddy?-I’m-yo-daddy! attitude. It also may play in your head when you see your boss coming from down the hallway at work and you haven’t even had your coffee yet, but that’s a different story.

If you watch the video closely, you can pinpoint the exact moment the baby goes from spastic to serene, and it’s all thanks to a track we’ve come to associate with one of the most famous villains in cinematic history. But does that mean this baby is destined to be a Stormtrooper or even the next Kylo Ren? Or should we wait and see how potty training goes first before we call him as either a Chosen One or a TRAITOR!!!!!!?! And on a cuteness level of Yoda in a Jedi robe to Yoda in a bathrobe, how cute is this baby?  Let us know in the comments section below!
