Our friends at Think Geek, those knowledgeable nerds who create some of the most fun products on the planet, have dreamed up some wild stuff in their time, but nothing can beat the crazy fake ideas they come up with for April Fool’s Day every year. Unless, of course, they decide their sense of humor is actually the greatest r&d department you’ll ever find by turning the jokes into real products. Â That’s exactly what they did with their 2012 April Fool’s product, the Technomancer Digital Wizard Hoodie.
The interior of the hoodie features LED lights that are motion-controlled. Nine “spell” combinations change the lighting color, and a soundbox adds audio effects.
The hoodie is already sold out, but when they’re back in stock I will run around pretending to be a technobender. A technobender happens when a metalbender and lightningbender do some bedroom bending and have a kid, at least according to my Avatar: The Last Airbender fan fiction. Now if only we could convince them that voice modifying Bane Mask Walkie-Talkies need to actually exist.
What other Think Geek April Fool’s Day products should exist in the real world? Sound off in the comments below.
The Manual of Mastery has been written by a family of avid Wizard101 fans, and has proved to be an awesome advantage when winding their way through the Spiral!
I was happy when they made the Tauntaun sleeping bag.
Ditto on the Dharma Initiative Alarm Clock from LOST. I would buy that in a heartbeat.
I’m waiting for the Dharma clock too! That would be amazing! It seems easier to create than this hoodie!
I just got paid $2357 working off my laptop this month. And if you think that’s cool, my divorced friend has twin toddlers and made over $9k her first month. It feels so good making so much money when other people have to work for so much less. This is what I do http://xurl.es/w8u9b
I’m still holding out for the Dharma Initiative alarm clock that looked like the countdown in the Hatch
