There are few things we love in this world more than fan art. Whether complex, simple, hand drawn, or completed on a computer, we canât deny that thereâs an appreciation that comes with the form. However, there are some pieces that blow us away to the point of making us wonder why we canât walk into a museum to see certain works on display, and todayâs sampling has us blinking in disbelief.
Drawn by artist Euclase, these portraits are all paintings⦠but weâll be damned if our first thought wasnât “photograph”:
Unfortunately, there are just too many pieces in Euclaseâs galley to display here. But rest assured that if you head to the artistâs Tumblr or DeviantArt page, youâll find not only variations on the characters above, but also paintings and sketches for Thor, Sam Winchester, Poussey Washington, Bard, Riddick, Legolas, Indiana Jones, Iron Man, The Doctor, Tyrion, Quint and many more.
We love finding fan art to display because itâs one of the most pure forms of fandom that exists. Along with cosplay, podcasting and blogging, fan art is simply one of the best ways to express love for something awesome, so of course we must fulfill our obligation to share it with you whenever we come across it.
Which of the pieces is your favorite? Let us know in the comments below.

I love her work! I started following for the Supernatural art and stayed for the amazing everything.
I’m so happy her work is finally be showcased on here! She is so incredibly kind and talented and deserves to have so many great things happen for her! Personally I think the Luke Skywalker is my favorite just because of the way she played with shadows and light. Absolutely stunning!
Euclase is absolutely amazing! I found her work initially through her Supernatural paintings but her entire body of work is more than impressive. I’m just happy that she shares that talent with us.
Any bets on how long before someone complains about using the term paintings for something painted digitally? And yes, I say they’re paintings too.
It took me awhile, but I have come to accept digital work as just another type of media. I think the vast majority of people do, but 10 years ago, it was a different story =)
Oh, Ichabod. I do love Ichabod Crane so very much…
