IT’S THE GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN Screen Prints are Peak Nerdoween

We love everything Halloween related so much we created Nerdoween; so, naturally, we more than love Charles M. Schulz’s television classic circa 1966, It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. And we’re not the only ones!

Artists Tim Doyle and Ridge Room, have teamed up with artistic print company Dark Hall Mansion to create amazing Halloween screen prints (with one silver-metallic variant set of 50 and one glow-in-the-dark variant set of 25) inspired by The Great Pumpkin. Charlie and Linus pensively sitting in the dark pumpkin patch, while Snoopy dreams the night away, is definitely the perfect somber moment to capture. Charlie seems pretty bummed about only getting rocks. If that’s not a gloomy childhood Halloween we don’t know what is.

Australian artist and devote nerd, Florey, also joined the game with a brighter party scene screen print and purple variant. This one is a bit more on the cheerful side, featuring the gang in all their funky ’60s attire and mirthful attitudes. Oh, the joys of a successful childhood Halloween party! Charlie Brown even looks like he’s happily forgotten about his bag of rocks!

The Great Pumpkin holds a certain kind of childhood sentiment for many of us. And with the The Peanuts Movie reboot out in November, we look to these prints and the 49-year-old It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown with unfettered nostalgia.

All of these great prints are currently on sale at Dark Hall Mansion’s store page. Act fast though, the Doyle and Room Glow-In-The-Dark print variation and silver-metallic variant are already sold out! Good grief!
