These Gorgeous Glasses Are Based on Iconic STAR WARS Locations

Tired of your home bar having all of the elegance of the Mos Eisley Cantina? Wish you could have more “elegant” glassware worthy of a “civilized age?” Well, these stunning glasses based on some of the most iconic places in the entire Star Wars galaxy are a good way to start.

These beautiful, officially licensed cups are made by ThinkGeek and are based on the Star Wars planets of Alderaan, Dagobah, Hoth, and Tatooine, as well as the forest moon of Endor, and the Death Star. They are ten-ounce glasses, 3.5 inches tall by 3 inches (at their widest point), and the entire set of six will run you $49.99.

While they might look like they are stained or blown glass, the “design is achieved via a high-temperature heat wrap,” which also means they are not dishwasher or microwave safe.

Really though, having to wash them by hand will be the least of your worries. A much bigger concern will be fighting the urge to smash the Alderaan glass and make terrible Obi-Wan and Grand Moff Tarkin glass-related puns.

“I felt a great disturbance in the cabinet, as if millions of shards suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly shattered.”

Like I said: terrible.

A shot of tequila in the Death Star glass? An ice cream float in the Hoth one? These are cool enough that you can just admire them or figure out appropriate drinks to fill them with.

What other Star Wars locations would you like to see made into one of these glasses in a future set? In the comments tell us you must.
