Every year, the Royal Observatory in Greenwich holds a competition for the best astronomy photography of the year. Submissions come from around the world, and the best are culled into a stunning collection of what space has to offer, each one showing us

something amazing in the universe around us that we can’t see with the naked eye. It’s an incredible gallery that covers different categories.
