Well this was bound to happen, wasn’t it? I mean, after the success of the Every Simpsons Ever marathon on FXX â bringing ratings for days on end, making advertisers and the powers-that-be very happy, no doubt â it was only a matter of time before they’d found another reason to do it. And so soon has that moment arrived, thanks to a Simpsons-themed event happening at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles this upcoming weekend.
Adorably dubbed The Simpsons Take the Bowl, the event â hosted by Hank Azaria and featuring performances by the likes of “Weird Al” Yankovic, Conan O’Brien, Jon Lovitz, and others â will feature several orchestra adaptations of popular songs from the series’ history.
But if you can’t make it to the event itself, fear not! We’ve got the rundown of what will be playing when (all times EST so check your local listings!) so you can pretend in your mind that you’re actually outside at the Bowl in Los Angeles, being swept into the funny by the blissful tones of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra …and Conan O’Brien.
8:00 pm â “Marge vs. The Monorail” (Season 4 â song at the Bowl event: “Monorail Song.”)
8:30 pm â “Homer’s Barbershop Quartet” (Season 5 â song at the Bowl event: “Baby on Board.”)
9:00 pm â “Homer the Great” (Season 6 â song at the Bowl event: “We Do â The Stonecutters Song.”)
9:30 pm â “Two Dozen and One Greyhounds” (Season 6 â song at the Bowl event: “See My Vest.”)
10:00 pm â “Who Shot Mr. Burns? Part 2” (Season 7 â song at the Bowl event: “Señor Burns.”)
10:30 pm â “A Fish Called Selma” (Season 7 â songs at the Bowl event: “Dr. Zaius” and “Chimpan A to Chimpan Z.”)
11:00 pm â “Bart After Dark” (Season 8 â song at the Bowl event: “We Put the Spring in Springfield.”)
11:30 pm â “Simpsoncalifragilisticexpiala(Annoyed Grunt)cious” (Season 8 â song at the Bowl event: “Minimum Wage Nanny.”)
So âWill you be watching this go-around? Let us know in the comments.

Really? No Stark Raving Dad? One of the most infamous episodes with the King Of Pop himself? I suppose it’s not music heavy enough. Homer’s Barbershop Quartet is a great episode.
Is the bowl event going to be taped for tv/internet/dvd/Vine-d?
Too bad they aren’t doing any music from any of the Simpsons’ albums…
