Ill tell you why New Day isn’t getting the fan reaction you want. Because there is nothing there to care about. Yes, they are amazing athletes that deserve to be in the good spot. But what do we know so far. They are happy go lucky stable that’s about being positive… so? That’s not enough personality to get behind a group. How many backstage promos did The Shield drop after they debuted. One every Raw almost. We knew who Ambrose, Rollins, and Reigns were and why they were here. They served a strange brand of justice but you understood why they were doing it. If you want ppl to care give them more backstage promo time. Lets learn more about them now, show us visual encounters between ppl and the stable. Bo Dallas had this awesome set of back stage promos where he’d interact with other super stars and cheesily tell them to bolieve. Kane and Daniel Bryan became huge because of all their anger management promos that in my mind really launched D-Bryans career, it gave you something to hold on to when you thought about him. New Day so far hasn’t shown depth in their character other than being really high energy. Nothing has changed for them character wise other than wearing blue and coming out together. Look at Fandango, hes a dancer…who is mean and that is the depth of his character as it has been presented thus far, nothing else. We don’t even know why he stopped being a dancer and decided to wrestle, other than the fact that he isn’t anymore. That’s all you see. John Curtis was amazing on NXT given all the promo time he was given. I would die laughing every time he would talk and be a huge creep. You cant fault fans for not reacting to people they dont really know.

I think people just don’t really get the new day. their entrance is boring as hell and they had that promo which made them seem almost cult like with their matching uniforms, forced smiles and calling people brother and sister. Also people liked Kofi, Big E and Woods but they were never mega over. I think they could be good in the ring and i like the idea that they have different combo finishers for the different tag teams.
