Juicy developments today for what’s shaping up to be the definitive game from within the Lord of The Rings realm, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. The new trailer that was shown for the first time at San Diego Comic-Con finally reveals the identity of the Wraith that accompanies Shadow of Mordor‘s protagonist throughout the game’s story: Celebrimbor, the Elven smith who was partly responsible for the the forging of the Rings of Power.

Ah, yes! I’ve been craving a little more backstory on the pointy eared innovator behind those dreaded rings. Shadow of Mordor is slated for store shelves September 30th, outside of the dreadfully overcrowded month of October.
