The Who Crew

Hi folks!

Here’s a couple little videos that surfaced this weekend featuring basically everybody involved in the Russell T. Davies regime of Doctor Who. The first has everybody dancing and lip-syncing to the Proclaimers hit “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles).” Basically, it’s delightful.

The second is a little musical number performed by Tennant, Catherine Tate, and John Barrowman as a special goodbye to Davies and Executive Producer Julie Gardner.

Both are from the wrap party after “The End of Time.”

  1. Travis says:

These videos put the biggest smile on my face. I started watching Doctor Who during David Tennat’s run, so it was amazing to see those videos and reminded me of why I love Tennat.

  2. Hannah says:

I posted up on your Nerdist Wall on FB…..Still love them though! <3

  3. Kass says:

Son of a bitch, I can’t stop watching these. I have a shiny new gangly Scotsman fixation (3 seasons of awesome didn’t hurt, but apparently lip syncing to the Proclaimers + singing = defenseless).

  4. Spence says:

I think my girlfriend put it best when she said “This is my favorite thing the internet has ever brought me. Thanks, internet!”

  5. Candice says:

Cannot tell you how much these videos made me laugh. It was like an end of an era really. I like the Steven Moffat/ Matt Smith combo a lot but it really just is not Davies/ Tennant

  6. Boabie says:

These two films were shown at the series/specials wrap party and the copy DVDs given to the cast and crew as gifts. They are great and shows the lovely team they have at BBC Wales

    That’s just brilliant! ^_^
If it doesn’t exist already, someone should make a dancing Ood gif! 😉

    MADE.MY.LIFE.

  14. -Di. says:

    How awesome is David Tennant?

Those videos make me miss him as the Doctor. I like Matt Smith. He’s done a great job but I think my heart will always belong to David Tennant.

    *swoon*

  15. Greg says:

Fantastic fun, made me smile all morning

  16. Deanna says:

This made me so happy it brought tears to my eyes! Thank you,Thank you, thank you! What a great set that must have been to work on!

  17. uncanny expat says:

I remember when a shot like that with Timothy Dalton in Time Lord gear, John Simm, and David Tennant leaked from the filming of End of Time, basically confirming the appearance of the Master and the Time Lords. Looks like we know where that came from now.

  18. Laura says:

    FANTASTIC! *weep*

  19. goldfixe says:

I just watched End of Time (1&2) last night and am sad to have to leave David Tennant. These were great though!

  20. MaryToft says:

This is the original “Ballad of…”, if you’re a fan of Who and Victoria Wood that version is just amazing.

Thank you so much! Had never seen this before. And David Tennant in the Spidey t-shirt?! #win

  24. David Barnes says:

    Simply Epic!

  25. WOlf says:

OMG thank you so much. I’m pretty much crying now. Which is good cause my mood has bit the dust lately.

You know David put them up to the 500 Miles thing. He’s such a fanboy over them.

Thank you. That made my life. And reminded me of what I miss so much on tv right now. And that is my Doctor and his era of cast and crew.

  26. Joshua says:

Wow, that was amazing. Brought a slight tear to the eye.

  27. Apple says:

  37. Jeff says:
