The Warriors Three Look to Be Back for THOR: RAGNAROK

When the cast list for Thor: Ragnarok was released a few months ago, there were some notable names missing including Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, and Tadanobu Asano, who portray Thor‘s loyal companions, the Warriors Three. It just wouldn’t be a Thor movie without them! Now it appears that at least two of the three men have confirmed their presence in the upcoming sequel.

ComicBookMovie was the first to report that Asano and Stevenson have been spotted in Australia’s Gold Coast, where Thor: Ragnarok is currently being filmed. Without directly saying he was in the sequel, Asano posted the following image on his Instagram account.

Out of the trio, Asano really got a raw deal when his character, Hogun the Grim was essentially written out of Thor: The Dark World very early in the movie. And we kind of suspect that the trio will once again have a smaller role while Thor teams up with the Hulk and Bruce Banner. Former Punisher: War Zone star Ray Stevenson apparently got some ink done during a break between filming on Thor: Ragnarok. So that’s a pretty good indication that Volstagg the Voluminous is also back!

So far, Zachary Levi hasn’t been spotted, but we’d be shocked if Fandral didn’t return as well. And in the unlikely event that Levi couldn’t come back, perhaps Josh Dallas would like to reprise his role from the first Thor movie.

Blindspot star Jaimie Alexander has already hinted that she’ll be Thor: Ragnarok, and we’re still eager to see Lady Sif armor up again! The film will be released on November 3, 2017.
