THE WALKING DEAD’s Norman Reedus Loves His Keepsakes in This New STRETCH Clip

Things have been ramping up pretty heavily for Joe Carnahan’s upcoming film, Stretch. Originally slated for a March release, the film was pulled from the schedule by Universal when the studio realized it would cost $20 million to market the $5 million actioner. Now, with the film back in the hands of producing studio Blumhouse, the movie is set for an October release via VOD and digital outlets.

In order to get the word out, Carnahan has taken to social media to market the film all on his own in a punk rock sort of way. Last week we showed you the first images to come out via twitter, and earlier this week Dan Casey brought you the first two, very short, clips to be released. Today, not only do we have more clips for you (one of which is a totally outrageous one featuring Norman Reedus), we also have a lengthy blooper take between co-stars Patrick Wilson and Chris Pine:

In addition, JustJared also recently released a full blown blooper reel for the film that you have to see:

There are a lot of oddities happening in these clips, and it’s starting to become clear why Carnahan fought so hard to keep the budget of the film down in order to maintain creative control over the production. From these clips alone, the film looks like it’s built for a very specific kind of viewer by someone with a very distinct vision of what it’s supposed to be, a vision that’s most likely hard to comprehend without seeing the film in full.

So as we wait for the first full length trailer and release date to hit the web, what we can say is Stretch looks like something that, whether people end up loving or hating it, will be talked about for much time to come.
