THE WALKING DEAD Season 7 Key Art Lines Up Its Victims

Last season on The Walking Dead, Jeffrey Dean Morgan made his debut as Negan and he promptly murdered one of the show’s main characters. And while we still don’t know who met their end from Negan’s barbwire bat dubbed Lucille, it’s a question that AMC wants fans to keep asking at Comic-Con next week. So the network has released new key art for The Walking Dead—but don’t expect any clues about who the victim will be.

Supposedly, AMC shot 11 different versions of the scene to prevent spoilers from getting out before the seventh season premiere. That seems a bit excessive, but no one has provided any definitive spoilers yet, so it’s clearly working, so far. AMC is also bringing most of the cast to Comic-Con—including Morgan, Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Chandler Riggs, Sonequa Martin-Green, Michael Cudlitz, Josh McDermitt, Ross Marquand, and Christian Serratos. We can’t help but notice that several of Negan’s most likely victims are all included in that lineup.

The Walking Dead panel will take place on Friday, July 22 at 1pm in Hall H. And if that’s not enough TWD for you, come out for the Fear The Walking Dead panel an hour earlier at noon in Hall H!
