THE WALKING DEAD Season 6 Finale Gets Supersized

For the last few episodes of The Walking Dead, the residents of Alexandria have had the upper hand in their conflict with the Saviors. However, their advantage may not last long as The Walking Dead heads into its final two installments of the season. Now, AMC is gearing up for an extra-length season finale.

The Walking Dead will close out its season with a 90-minute episode, just like last year’s fifth season finale. There are potential spoilers ahead, so stop reading now if you don’t want to know anything about what’s going to happen!

This season finale is likely to be the first time that TV fans get to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, the newest big bad on The Walking Dead. You shouldn’t believe the Saviors’ “we’re all Negan” mantra. There’s only one Negan, and he makes the Governor look tame!

One of the major changes from The Walking Dead comic to the TV series is that Rick Grimes and company have gone on the offensive much sooner and they’ve killed a lot of Saviors before Negan has revealed himself. As alluded to in last night’s episode, that changes the tone of the Saviors’ interactions with them.

There’s also a very strong chance that at least one of our beloved characters will meet their ends in the season finale. But given the way that The Walking Dead reshuffles characters and their fates, it doesn’t necessarily have to be the same person who died in the comic. It certainly wasn’t in most recent episode!

Who do you think will die in The Walking Dead’s sixth season finale? Stomp a walker and share your thoughts in the comment section below, and don’t miss Everything You Need to Know About Negan on The Dan Cave!
