We came, we saw, we melted our friends and family’s faces with lasers. It’s all part of the Comic-Con experience, especially if you came and played Nerdist Laser Tag with us at the Conival at Petco Park. This year, we teamed up with 2K and Gearbox Software to transform part of Petco Park into an epic Battleborn-themed laser tag arena, which was honestly a match made in heaven for the forthcoming team-based shooter game. Now that the dust has settled and we’ve finally started to regain feeling in our legs, we can look back at the simply awesome arena-based laser combat that went down over SDCC’s four-day run.

With special guest appearances by the cast of Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, Sleepy Hollow, Rooster Teeth’s Lazer Team, Sourcefed, a slew of mega-talented Battleborn cosplayers and many more, this year’s event was a star-studded affair. It was also a fast-paced brutal battle to the proverbial death as you’ll see in our video recapping what exactly went down within those hallowed halls. What else would you expect after Chuck Liddell showed us his majorly badass laser tag moves?
