âI am VENGEANCE! I AM THE NIGHT! I AMâ¦riding on a motorized unicycle waving at cars that pass by?â I think the quote may be a little off, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that there IS a new superhero in the UK, and this one has his own “Batmobile.”
However, the video above proves that THIS mode of transportation won’t exactly turn into a tank at a moment’s notice or cause an angry gamer to throw his or her controller at the screen because of how hard that last Riddler level is. It IS the perfect way to get around when your quest seems to be making sure people driving down the street are having a pleasant day.
The Tunbridge Wells Caped Crusader (Named by the same marketing wizards that came up with Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice)Â dishes out his own form of justice. Rather than use gadgets and martial arts to stop muggers and the like, he and his trusty unicycle speed around the streets, warning car owners of the dangers of texting and driving.
This is the second superhero reported in the UK this summer, as two months ago saw the first sightings of the “Bromley Batman” is South London.
I do hope that “striking fear into the hearts of criminals everywhere” is not on the Caped Crusader’s to do list. If it is, my only advice would not be to ride around in broad daylight saying “cheers” to everyone.
So what do you think? Is the Caped Crusader doing a good service to his community? Or is just setting up for the eventual debut of the “Tunbridge Wells Clown Prince of Crime”? Let me know on Twitter or in the comments below.
