Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, don your robot fists and prepare your martini glasses because The Thrilling Adventure Hour behind-the-scenes documentary web series is finally here! Get a glimpse of the other side of the stage of the production styled with the feel of old time radio and learn about what goes into each performance. It’s energetic, sometimes frantic, but most of all, it looks like a ton of fun.
Ben Blacker and Ben Acker created The Thrilling Adventure Hour about nine years ago. It all began with a live-reading of a feature length “Sparks Nevada, Marshal on Mars” script, and the show evolved from there. Besides hearing from Blacker and Acker, the first episode features director Aaron Ginsburg and many members of the primary cast – the Workjuice Players – including Marc Evan Jackson, Paul F. Tompkins, Hal Lublin, Annie Savage, and many more. And yes, some guest stars make appearances.
Don’t listen to The Thrilling Adventure Hour? Well, I recommend remedying that, but even if you have no idea what the show is about, this behind-the-scenes series will introduce you to the basics.
Ready for more? One episode will be released each week, but if you live in Los Angeles, you can see the entire series all at once! It will be shown at the New Beverly Cinema along with a 35mm screening of Serenity and a new live episode of “Sparks Nevada, Marshal on Mars” on Saturday, May 31st. Leaping Laser Beams! I’ve got to go with the triumvirate, Beyond Belief, Captain Laser Beam and Sparks Nevada! I feel like I’ve been living under a rock, having never heard of TAH until last month at C2E2 Chicago. I just happened to be standing by the booth and my curiosity was peaked and I listened to my first episode. I’ve been greedily ingesting each episode since then! TAH is awesome!
Sparks Nevada! Beyond Belief! I have been going to see Thrilling Adventure for year, and still can’t choose a favorite. Love them both.

When Adam Busch came on screen I instantly thought he looked familiar, and when I realized he was Warren, I shouted “Oh God!” and jumped out of my chair, like when you set your hand down somewhere and then you look down and there’s a spider right there and you almost touched it O_o
