The STAR WARS REBELS Crew Is Getting Their Own Line of Funko POP! Figures

The Funko Pop series of adorable vinyl figures has covered just about every major character from all seven Star Wars films, with new collectables already announced for this December’s upcoming anthology prequel, Rogue One. But Star Wars isn’t just movies these days, and Jedi fanatics have been wondering just when Funko would get around to making figures based on the ragtag crew of the rebel ship The Ghost.

Well, that day is finally here! This morning, Funki announced that they’re releasing the first full series of figures from Disney XD’s Star Wars: Rebels animated series. Now you’ll be able to proudly prop up Kanan Jarrus, Ezra Bridger, Zeb, Hera Syndulla, Chopper, Sabine, and Ahsoka Tano right up next to Luke, Leia, Han, and the rest. You can see a preview of the figures in Funko’s tweet down below:

Based on this preview image, these figures are inspired by the first two seasons of Rebels these version of the Rebels, so we’ve got Kanan with shorter hair and a goatee (and not blind) and a younger Ezra with longer hair. Sabine comes in two variations — one with her Mandalorian helmet, and one without.

Hopefully if these vinyl figures prove popular with the fans, we’ll get other additions from the Rebels series, like the Inquistors, former Clone Trooper Captain Rex, the recently introduced Grand Admiral Thrawn, and maybe even Darth Maul. The new Star Wars: Rebels Funko Pop figures are set to hit stores this fall.

What do you think of the latest addition to the Star Wars Funko Pop family? Are you planning on collecting them all? Let us know down below in the comments.
