Like the delightful “Will It Blend?” channel, The Slow Mo Guys’ YouTube videos are a wonderful way to kick back and experience experiments that have no true purpose to them, and yet are just too fun to pass up. In their latest video, the Guys have decided to take a recent Jell-O advertisement image and see if it accurately depicts hitting Jello with a tennis racket. Don’t worry though, guys, it’s for science.

There is something weirdly satisfying about watching Jell-O exploding into wiggly strands in mid-air. The video proves that the Jell-O ad is either the world’s luckiest picture ever taken, but is more likely to be a photoshopped image. And of course, anyone who has seen a Slow Mo Guys video knows it isn’t over unless Dan gets covered in some kind of mess. So Gav got his chance to throw Jello through a tennis racket and into Dan’s face. It may not be something he has always dreamed of doing, but the utter joy he has after doing so means he may have found a new highlight of their videos. These are the things I wish I had done with my friends at some point.
