The Saturday Evening Post Mortem: 10/27-11/02

It’s Saturday evening. You’ve had a long day of activities and you just want to kill some hours by clearing some of the build up off your DVR. With so many choices and so little time, how ever will you choose?  What should you watch? I’m going to tell you!

I spend every week watching all TV, so that I can report the “best of the rest,” so to speak. The stuff we didn’t recap, but that you should check out! So sit back and read my Saturday Evening Post Mortem for the week!

Sunday:

NEXT WEEK ALL THE SHOWS RETURN!!!!

Monday:

Adventure Time with Finn and Jake – Returns next week with a new episode.

The Blacklist – Read my final weekly recap here. Starting next week, coverage for The Blacklist will be in this space.

Tuesday:

New Girl – Another skipped week, but next week sees the return of Coach!

Wednesday:

South Park – No more kick the baby, as Ike begins to prematurely hit puberty, causing Kyle much concern. To bond with his baby brother, Kyle takes Ike to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia – “The Gang Makes Lethal Weapon 6” was my favorite episode of the season! There’s just too many great moments in this one to even know where to start. The title alone should peak your interest, and yes, we see a LOT of their remake.  Mac plays Murtagh in black face.

The League –  “The Automatic Faucet” felt a bit like an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm with multiple subplots, such as Kevin having trouble washing his hands, Andre sued for medical malpractice, Pete applying his fantasy football skills to the workplace, and Rafi returning!!

Thursday:

Parks and Recreation –  Was put on hiatus until next year. WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS, NBC?!?!?! (I stand by last week’s comment)

Friday:

Dracula – I don’t even know what I just watched. Please stop this from continuing, America.

You certainly have enough TV to fill your Saturday evening, but please chime in with comments or tweets if you’ve seen something I’ve haven’t that I cannot miss.

See you next week!
