The Official GAME OF THRONES Wall Diorama Displays Mighty Figures

Are your action figures standing alone on a shelf, sometimes falling down, often looking in need of a purpose? Then you know nothing about displaying, Jon Snow. But Funko is here to help. As the company recently announced that their Game of Thrones action figures would be switching from a 6-inch format to the more Star Wars-like 3-3/4, the hope was that this would mean playsets might be more feasible. And indeed, one has just been announced: The Wall.

True, it may not be a playset in the classic sense of having kid-friendly action features, but if your kid is playing with Game of Thrones toys, you might want to rethink your parenting, lest you raise a Joffrey of your own. For the adult collector, the primary purpose of a playset is to display the figures, and this Wall will hold 25 of them. Considering there aren’t yet 25 different figures, that gives you a lot of placement options, and so far, all the announced characters are Wall themed, and a bargain at $9.99 apiece. Plus with nine points of articulation, they’re more poseable than the basic Star Wars assortments, and unlike some of Funko’s other 3-3/4″ figures they have actor likeness rights and detailed sculpts.

That said, since the scale is Star Wars compatible, you can easily pretend the icy cliff is on Hoth or Starkiller Base. Or have Darth Maul square off against the Night’s King in an ultimate battle of whose horned head looks cooler. To get the collection started, the Wall comes with Tyrion in his winter cloak, complete with tiny goblet accessory. You can buy multiple walls to make an even bigger replica, of course, and have yourself a whole army of Tyrions in the process. But no burning them at the stake, as an execution pyre accessory is definitely not included.

BigBadToyStore has The Wall priced at $34.99 for preorder, and odds are good it will show up at your local retailer wherever Funko figures are sold. Tell your other toys that winter is coming…this summer.
