If you are a fan of the original U.K. version of The Office, and you probably are, you should know that for this year’s Comic Relief on BBC One on March 15th, Ricky Gervais will appear as David Brent, still selling cleaning supplies and still trying to have a musical career ten years after the Christmas specials.

I think I’m seeing a “Da Ali G Show” reference here. Though not as well executed as the one in Russell T. Davies’s “Casanova” miniseries, which was a more overt homage to the same sequence.
