The Nerdist Music Panel Announces Comic-Con Lineup: Mega Ran, Paul & Storm, Kitty Pryde and More!

Engines on. Phasers set to rad. Comic-Con week has officially commenced, and we could not be more ecstatic to be down in San Diego covering our favorite pop culture franchises, seeing some wicked cool cosplayers, and, of course, saying hi to all you fine folks that are coming out to see us at all of our radical events at Petco Park, the Grand Horton Theater, and beyond.

However, I am most excited about the the fact that, for the first time ever, Nerdist will be hosting a dedicated music panel with five excellent guests from a wide array of genres. From 12 PM to 1 PM on Friday July 10 at the Horton Grand Theater, I will be hosting an hour-long conversation about music with nerdcore rapper extraordinaire, Mega Ran, comedy duo Paul & Storm, hard rock vocalist, September Mourning, and whip-smart emcee, Kitty, (fka Kitty Pryde).

During the panel we will get to know each artist’s history with music before we dive into questioning what it means to be a music nerd in 2015. What were the first important songs that made our guests want to pursue a career in music? If each had to dance to one song for the rest of time what would it be and why? Do record collections matter as much as they used to? Prince or Michael Jackson? Is streaming really the future of music consumption? What advice would they give young musicians? These are the kind of questions we will toss around and try to answer together as a supergroup of musicians and friends.

We also want to know what you think we should talk about tomorrow at noon during the panel, so please leave some suggestions in the comments below! Hope to see you guys there!
