This is amazing. I’ve been a nerdist fan for a while now and have started checking out the other podcasts here and this is now one of my favorites.

  2. Rob says:

Action Comics number 1 came out in June 1938. At the start Superboy was a clone of Superman and the director of Cadmus. They changed it to Lex Luthor for no real reason. Other than that this was good.

  3. Meaghan says:

holy crap, Gil is so adorable!!! and so well spoken for a 9 year old. this is going to be an awesome podcast! Go Gil!!

Gil loves math, sciences and kid. He’s so awesome. I want my kid to listen to this how. Kudos to Nerdist for making something like this that is for kids. Nerd stuff starts with the fun of being a kid, the fun NPR style makes this perfect. Scott Lobdell, so jealous and happy for him to meet Scott.

  7. Rich Conner says:

This kid is adorable, and a great comics fan. It’s really impressive that he can handle hosting a podcast. Great freakin’ job! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Gil is the man.

    This gave me diabetes.

  12. Comic Fan says:

Gil, great great job! I loved it!!

  13. Vincent S says:

Great job, kiddo. If it was another older person white male comicbook podcast, I would have quit early on. Fresh perspective letting everything come out of a child (no offense on young Gil).

ps: Adults: stop messing with the kid XD. I feel bad for laughing. Great job Moe (Mo?), Katie and guest Scott.

  14. Andrew says:

Wow. Talking comics with pros would have been my 9-year-old self’s dream job!!! This is oddly not as weird as I thought it would be…

  15. Fantastic Planet says:

So fun. How often will there be new episodes coming out? My children listened with us and want a play date with Gil. Congrats on this find NERDIST.

  16. John G. says:

Amanda said it best in the first comment: freaking adorable.

    This kid is awesome!

Hopefully an iTunes link can show up soon?

  20. Claude Gaudette says:

Okay, so who’s idea was it to give a 9 year old a freakin’ podcast? ‘Cause whoever it was deserves a big smooch on the cheek. I’d be willing to do it, even if it was a dude, but I’m on the opposite side of the continent in another country. But if they ever visit Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada I’d do it. GO GIL!!

  21. Brian says:

Hey, DC Comics, listen up. This is the market you keep talking about wanting with all your “T” rated 52 reboot comics.

    Nice job, Gil. ๐Ÿ™‚

  22. Devin Smail says:

Ahhh, finally a podcast that lets me vent both my pedophilia and zombiephilia.

I jest, but this was a pleasant surprise, huge props to you Gil!

  23. Holy crap this is awesome.

  24. Amanda says:

    Freaking adorable. That is all.
