This is what we call the Muppet Show!

For decades, those lyrics have let us know it was time once again to hang out with Kermit, Ms. Piggy, and the rest of the gang, and to help promote their modern version of the show they gave us a new, modern version of the song.

In this video, over 60 different muppets get involved to perform an a cappella version of the classic theme song from The Muppet Show. If you can name every single muppet in this video, you my friend are one hardcore muppet fan and should probably win some kind of cameo on the show.

I especially appreciate the added touch of giving big ole Sweetums two boxes in the mosaic of singing muppets, and the end with Rizzo and Pepe is a great reminder of how funny The Muppets can be.

If you haven’t heard the original version in awhile, you can hear it in this opening from the first season.

And that’s how we end up going down the rabbit hole people, because now we have to watch arguably the greatest musical performance in muppet history, and arguably, in all of history.

Still the best after all these years. Oh, and yeah, since I know it will be stuck in your head the rest of the week–you’re welcome.
