Have you guys heard Future Islands yet? Have you? Just watching the dance moves of front man Samuel Herring are entrancing enough for you to be drawn into their dramatically crafted pop and have resulted in me having their hit single “Seasons (Waiting On You)” on repeat over 400 times, I think. It’s inevitable that it’s going to get so much radio play very soon, and I can only hope that I haven’t overplayed it myself by then. It would probably be best to keep liking music by not doing what I just did above and maybe watch The Most Intentionally Funny Video of The Day between listening to your favorite song 30 or so times in a row.
Today’s submitted MIFV is comedian Matt Ingebretson showing us why listening to vinyl records makes you better than everyone else so long as you don’t really talk to everyone else on a regular basis.
Hereâs the previous MIFV pick, in case you missed it.
Per usual, Iâm taking submissions for the MIFV like the one featured above. I love finding new, hilarious videos from people hundreds and thousands of miles away, so please do send your videos so long as they follow the rules below.
-E-mail embeddable video link to [email protected] with subject line âMIFV Submissionâ
-Videos must have been posted online (i.e. have a time stamp that says so) within exactly two weeks from when you submit (i.e. videos uploaded more than 14 days from the day when you submit will not be up for consideration)
-Donât add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link
