Amidst all the headlines I was combing through to make a joke here, “JC Penney sees first sales lift since 2011” is the one that made me laugh, as I completely forgot they exist. I drive by one every day and just assumed it was abandoned, not unlike the Olympic stadiums in most countries after the competition and ceremonies are over. Yet, they’re still around, and even afford you the option to shop online, which I did not know until I just looked it up before typing this out. So, with that in mind, would you rather wander the ruins of the Bird’s Nest stadium in Beijing or shop at a JC Penney? I know that’s a tough call to make, so just watch The Most Intentionally Funny Video of The Day instead.
