The Most Intentionally Funny Video of The Day 2/14/14: Adam Conover Exposes The Engagement Ring Scam

Valentine’s Day just happens to coincide with the release of the second season of House of Cards on Netflix, which should test more than a few relationships today. Perhaps some will grow stronger out of mutual love for the show, but I’d like to imagine that there have to be a few couples whose relationship is rocky at best, and binge watching on Netflix today is the perfect catalyst to split up. Of course, this is all coming from the perspective of a person who doesn’t even consider themselves single, as that would imply trying to date. Either way, The Most Intentionally Funny Video of The Day is here to brighten an otherwise obligatory day for cards and chocolates, whether it be for a significant other or someone else.

Today’s MIFV is submitted from Adam Conover who breaks down the scam of the engagement ring for College Humor. It’s a perfect video to accompany a scam of a day perpetrated by a card company/to enjoy if you’re single or alone.

Here’s the previous MIFV pick, in case you missed it.

Per usual, I’m taking submissions for the MIFV like the one featured above. I love finding new, hilarious videos from people hundreds and thousands of miles away, so please do send your videos so long as they follow the rules below.
-E-mail embeddable video link to [email protected] with subject line “MIFV Submission”
-Videos must have been posted online (i.e. have a time stamp that says so) within exactly two weeks from when you submit (i.e. videos uploaded more than 14 days from the day when you submit will not be up for consideration)
-Don’t add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link
