The Most Intentionally Funny Video of The Day 12/2/13: How To Sharpen Pencils with David Rees

After the emotional, financial, and gourmand blitz of Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Thanksgiving weekend, and this Cyber Monday, I hope that you’ll all be glad to come upon a science headline like: “Here’s why koalas sound like frogs vomiting during mating season.” It’s intriguing to see the scientific community investigate, I’m assuming, off of a random comedian’s observation instead of letting the noise go. Either way, to get that sound/image out of your head, watch The Most Intentionally Funny Video of The Day.

Today’s MIFV is a mini documentary adapted by director Kenneth Price from wonderful humorist David Rees’ How to Sharpen Pencils. It’s the rare case of it being actually educational, but also really funny for mostly Rees being so damn passionate about “artisanal pencil sharpening”.

Here’s the previous pick for MIFV, in case you missed it.

Per usual, I’m taking submissions for the MIFV like so many featured in the past. I love finding new, hilarious videos from people hundreds and thousands of miles away, so please do send your videos so long as they follow the rules below.
-E-mail embeddable video link to [email protected] with subject line “MIFV Submission”
-Videos must have been posted online (i.e. have a time stamp that says so) within exactly two weeks from when you submit (i.e. videos uploaded more than 14 days from the day when you submit will not be up for consideration)
-Don’t add any cover letters or explanations; please just send the link
