The MORTAL KOMBAT XL Launch Trailer Brings The Horror

In addition to being one of the best fighting games of 2015, Mortal Kombat X featured horror icons Jason Voorhees and the Predator as bonus playable characters. Mortal Kombat XL is adding the Xenomorph from Aliens and Leatherface, which makes it one step closer to being the horror fighting game of our dreams!

Warner Bros. Interactive has released the Mortal Kombat XL launch trailer, which shows off the newly added Alien, Triborg, Bo’Rai Cho, and Leatherface, as well as new skins for Goro, Tanya, Cassie Cage, and other fan-favorite characters.

Fans who have already purchased the original version of Mortal Kombat X can buy the Mortal Kombat XL Pack on Playstation Network and Xbox Live to get all of the new content, as well as the previously released bonus characters including Goro, Tremor, Predator, Jason, and Tanya. Playstation 4 and Xbox One owners of Mortal Kombat XL and Mortal Kombat X will also be able to download a new version of the classic Pit Stage for free, in addition to a new Medieval Skin Pack.

If you’ve been holding out for the physical disc, Mortal Kombat XL is out now for the PS4 and Xbox One, and it’s the most complete version of the game to date. Every piece of DLC is included, although we’re still holding out hope that Nightmare on Elm Street‘s Freddy Krueger will eventually be added to the series again so we can finally make Jason fight Freddy in a fighting game!
