The Meal Of Your Dreams: Animal Style Burger Pizza

Last week, we were live on Nerdist’s Facebook, eating all the things! The centerpiece of this online eat-fest was the Animal Style pizza. This hybrid of foodstuffs is what you get if you take the legendary In-N-Out Animal Style burgers and magically transform them into a delicious, cheesy pizza.

For those not in the know, Animal Style burgers are available on the In-N-Out not-so secret menu. It’s the standard In-N-Out burger with additional toppings and extra spread, but the real secret to Animal Style is frying the meat patties in mustard. While that step seems inconsequential, it makes all the difference in taste.

This behemoth of a pizza contains six patties, grilled onions, special sauce, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, and more cheese, and tastes even better than any burger fan can imagine. While our pizza was in the shape of a Death Star in honor of Star Wars Day, you certainly don’t have to go that route. Although, I’ll tell you, an armored space station never tasted so good.

Test out this unique recipe for yourself and watch our own taste-test of this burger-pizza combo on Nerdist Facebook live!
