THE MARVEL EXPERIENCE Announces Tour Dates

Start training now, because soon you can join the best and mightiest heroes from the Marvel universe and help save the planet. Okay, you don’t really have to train, you just have to attend The Marvel Experience: The World’s First Hyper-Reality Tour. The traveling show has announced the first four tour dates and locations, and it sounds like an event you don’t want to miss if you can help it.

Produced by Hero Ventures, The Marvel Experience sounds as big as the Hulk. The attraction will cover two acres and include seven “colossal” domes. Audience members will be S.H.I.EL.D.’s newest recruit (hey, Director Coulson is desperate for new agents) and will train alongside the likes of Spider-Man, Hulk, and Iron Man in a 360 degree, 3D stereoscopic projection dome. Everything leads to a final showdown against Red Skull, M.O.D.O.K., and their Adaptoids. Bring. It. On.

The Experience offers plenty to look at, and when you’re weary of training, you can take a break at a dining area that’s superhero-themed. There’s even a museum sort of area with Marvel collectibles and a life-size Avengers’ Quinjet. Once you’ve rested, you can go on a 4-D motion ride. The Marvel Experience basically sounds like a traveling theme park, and if you’re dying to go, here are the first four stops:

Dec. 12 – Jan. 3 Phoenix, AZ The Domes at Salt River Fields – Talking Stick
Jan. 9 – Feb. 1 Dallas, TX The Domes at Cotton Bowl
Feb. 7 – Feb. 22 San Diego, CA The Domes at Del Mar Fairgrounds
Feb. 27 – Mar. 22 San Francisco, CA The Domes at AT&T Park

Tickets go on sale October 10th at Ticketmaster.

Visit The Marvel Experience to learn more about the show and to keep tabs on where the tour will go next. Fly to the comments and let us know if you’re planning to attend!

I took my family to the Marvel Experience in Phoenix. It was awful. Read the reviews on Yelp. Long lines to do underwhelming (if they work) attractions. It was a disaster. Disney entrusted a bunch of knuckleheads calling themselves Hero Ventures with this project and they have effed it up. I am a lifelong Marvel fan. Usually. I grew up on Marvel comics. I’ve taken my kid to every Marvel movie. This Experience sucked. Save your money. If you are a True Believer write Disney and tell them to get rid of Hero Ventures.
