Aside from the series by Telltale Games, HBO’s Game of Thrones hasn’t had many memorable video games yet…but a new series of somewhat NSFW parody videos on YouTube are bringing the GoT characters into some classic video game scenarios. Let’s just say that these Game of Thrones parodies have actual Game of Thrones-style content. Consider this your trigger warning!
First up is the most recently released video, which finds Jon Snow dropped into a very Super Mario-like world as he deals with Wildlings, wights, affairs of the heart, and a mercy killing for the King Beyond the Wall. There is some slightly R-rated content when Jon confronts Ygritte, but compared to the rest of the videos, this is the tame one.
Red Medusa is a Russian animation studio that has released seven Game of Thrones video game parodies to date, all of which have varying degrees of adult content. Aside from Super Snow Bros, the only other one that we can safely post here is the Mortal Kombat inspired duel between the Mountain and Oberyn Martell, which places Tywin Lannister in the costume of Shao Kahn and puts Tyrion in the Kano position. There is also an “Unexpectality” which shouldn’t surprise anyone who remembers how that battle ended on the show.
Some of the ones that we can’t post include Jaime Lannister using falling Brans like Tetris bricks, Cersei’s walk of shame, and George R.R. Martin himself starring in a Doom parody in which he murders his foes with dismembered penises. If you’re so inclined, you can find them all here.
