THE LEGO MOVIE 2’s “Catchy Song” Will Definitely Get Stuck in Your Head

The title track for The LEGO Movie was perfect, because everything in the first film really was awesome, including the fantastic theme written and performed by the Lonely Island and Tegan and Sara. We’re forever grateful for that too, and not just because it made the movie better. That song lives in our heads now, where it will reside forever, so it’s a good thing we like it. But if you thought that was a catchy track, that’s nothing compared to the new song from The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, which is accurately titled “Catchy Song.” And just as it promises, it will definitely get stuck in your head.

WaterTower Music and Warner Bros. released the sequel’s main track, and it’s somehow even more infectious than you’d imagine. Performed by Dillon Francis and featuring T-Pain and That Girl Lay Lay, it’s the latest meta-joke from a movie that will see star Chris Pratt voice a new character, who is an amalgamation of his biggest movie roles.

Yup. YUUUUUPPPP. This song is absolutely stuck inside our heads and will be forever, and already in a way not even “Everything Is Awesome” is. Also, it’s nearly impossible not to start dancing along to this. Even Alison Brie, who voices Unikitty, couldn’t help but get down while recording her parts.

Next two weeks? More like the next two years at least. And really, forever. There’s a reason it’s called “Catchy Song.”

Which is why, just like with “Everything Is Awesome,” we’re very thankful it’s so good.
