THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE Graffiti Art Character Posters Are Gorgeously Gritty

If The LEGO Batman Movie is a mere fraction as entertaining as its marketing has been, then it will be almost unfair to the other movies coming out in this year. We’ve got the latest and greatest character posters for the film in today’s Movie Morsels, plus a new La La Land trailer/music video, the latest from Underworld: Blood Wars, and much more!

The LEGO Batman Movie

Holy Banksy, Batman! Every image we’ve seen thus far from The LEGO Batman Movie has been pure perfection, and a new series of graffiti art posters is no different. In fact, I’d go so far as to say these are the first Batman movie posters I’ve ever seen, other than those produced by Mondo, that I’d love to frame on the walls of my home…

La La Land

Those of you who’ve seen La La Land, know that the film’s music is a large part of its massive appeal. And while Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone may not be the most polished vocalists in the world, they’re lent strong support from the very versatile John Legend. The Grammy winner’s “Start a Fire” is featured in the latest trailer for La La Land. Y’know, just in case you need one more reason to see this ginormously entertaining crowd-pleaser…

Here’s a dark preview of the dark thriller’s dark score by composer Michael Wandmacher…

Sleepless

Jamie Foxx goes back to the action movie realm with Sleepless, in which he plays a cop out to save his kidnapped son. The latest clip from the film features Foxx and the always terrific Michelle Monaghan, who plays his fellow police officer who’s as intrigued by his character’s battle scars as he is by hers…

Slender Man

Finally today… Whether you spell his name “Slender Man” or “Slenderman” there’s no denying that the internet phenomenon is the biggest boogeyman the 21st century has conjured up thus far. In addition to an upcoming HBO documentary Beware the Slenderman, the viral video creeper will star in a bona fide big screen feature, which has just landed a director: Sylvain White, who helmed Stomp the Yard and the underrated The Losers. Though as The AV Club helpfully points out, there’s no way this film will prove as satisfying as the following spoof of Slender Man mania…
