The Legacy Music Hour #105: Castlevania

Just in time for Halloween, Brent and Rob focus on the Castlevania series.  Spanning about 13 games through the 8-bit and 16-bit era, Brent and Rob seem to concentrate more on the 8-bit stuff.  Subsequently, none of the SNES games made this episode.  It’s still good though.  The boys also share stories about scary things and Halloween plans.  Happy Halloween, LMH listeners!  Full track listing below.

    Castelvenia! 😀

  2. Legacy Music Hour says:

@Jeff You’re missing out on some great music! And as for a Final Fantasy episode, the closest thing we have so far is a Nobuo Uematsu focus (Episode 25): http://legacymusichour.blogspot.com/2011/04/legacy-music-hour-episode-25-nobuo.html

There’s also two Square episodes (#5 and #59, although 59 purposely focused on non-Final Fantasy Square games) and an RPG episode (#46), which also purposely stayed clear of Uematsu/Final Fantasy in order to cover more obscure titles.

  3. Jeff MacDonald says:

I don’t normally listen to this podcast, but when I do it is usually episodes that are game specific (TMNT for example). I would like more of them please. Particularly interested in a Final Fantasy episode. That is all.

  4. sluntchop says:

Normally I only get nostalgic or emotion to 8 bit songs that I used to hear as a child which was re-inforced as I got older. Something about that first Castlevania: the adventure track was beautiful.
