Kurt blindfolds comedian extraordinaire Michael Lawrence and brings him somewhere he’s never been. Along the way they discuss the movie Up, Mike’s intense commitment to open mics, and dual-discover their very first crack pipe. Plus, Kurt almost craps his pants.

This is my new favorite podcast. Here’s a suggestion for a place to go in LA — might be a bit of a longer drive from the Los Feliz/Echo Park area than previous episodes, but it’s a straight shot down the 110 which leads you to the Angels Gate Park in San Pedro. It offers really nice views of the Port of LA/Long Beach, which is the sixth-largest port in the world. It’s also home to the Korean Friendship Bell, as well as the former home of Fort MacArthur (including some cool abandoned gun turrets), which defended the West Coast. On a clear day, you can see Catalina Island. It’s usually quite windy, so bring those special microphones!

Holy fuck, I feel like a genius right now. Right when they said something about a lot of bridges, I thought “LA river”. I’ve never even been to LA. HOW DID I EVEN KNOW THAT. I’m blowing my own mind here.
