I freaking love this woman from the PMC podcast episode she was in. Also, best laugh in the world. Good to know she has a serious side too. Great work, Janet/ egg = period philosopher.

This was one of my favorite episodes! I love Kathleen. She is sooo funny on Episodes! And she was great on here too. Now I am a huge fan I guess. I just always love listening to you Janet, I can relate to you so much! In fact, sometimes I feel like we are practically the same person. When I found out you were an aquarius I was like OMG THATS WHY!! Sometimes I want to go back into the archives and relisten to every episode, and then write a list of everything we have in common, because it is scary! But I think that would be kind of weird. Anyways. Thanks Janet and Kathleen, you entertained me completely <3

love LOVED this episode. Really could relate to the loss of virginity story..thanks for speaking about important issues like that. Janet, you’re amazing.

  4. PJ says:

Ah, chicken periods is what I like to call eggs from time to time… And the frozen bunny (such a sad story) reminded me of the frozen hares caught in snares that would end up as part of our family tourtière. Every house should have a large chest freezer for game meat…

  5. Gary says:

I can relate to her boyfriend’s decision to be a non-drinker and why. My stepfather was an alcoholic and I saw first hand the “dark side” of alcohol from an early age.

Does it effect everyone that way? Of course not.

But I never had more than the slightest curiousity about it growing up, and didn’t develop the taste. It was much the same for smoking and drugs – I just figured that if I didn’t have the inclination to want to try it, and examples of how it could go wrong at my disposal, then I should just leave it alone.

  6. Alec says:

My grandmother had a great tradition of accidentally getting male cats. Two of them were lucky enough to already have dual purpose names: Jessie and Sasha. One cat in my family was a little bit less fortunate and ended up being called Mr Missy.

  7. Benjamin says:

As always I loved the episode and I have to say 2 things. One, I won’t be able to see eggs the same way ever again, and two, I love the noise of cicadas. This is because they remind me of my mom’s town (which I should visit more often) and because that noise means that the rain season is close and I can say goodbye to the usual heat of the mexican summer.
