Strange to think that whatever was disconnected before Jessica Rabbit laid it down might’ve led Paula putting down roots in Maryland and leading a whole other life. (Also weird to call someone you don’t know by their first name; other addresses seem too formal: Ms. Paula Marshall, Ms. Marshall, Madame Paula, Her Paulaness, Tylenol Paula Marshall)
I hear from other folks also from Maryland that it has a disease, really stuck in it’s ways. Moved out to New Mexico from Maryland because it’s not a place to be if you don’t fit in with the straight and narrow. Really considering going back, but have many reservations for this reason.
And that question: What happens so that some people build their lives in places like that and other people get the hell out of dodge?

    Also, what up Montgomery College.

Couldn’t help but think of this but Janet, you might like the sci-fi novels The Sparrow and The Children of God by Mary Doria Russell. They deal a lot with sci-fi and God or what God actually means from a standpoint of crisis and “How could God allow this?” There’s also a podcast called On Being where Krista Tippett and Mary Doria Russell have a big conversation on God, and God as a novelist, and what kind of God God might be. It really seems up your alley.

CUPID was my favorite show & Paula could not be cooler. Big thanks for an amazing episode. <3

Gillian Vigman has been a longstanding “media crush” due initially to her work on SONS AND DAUGHTERS, and now here’s Paula Marshall, whom it turns out was in college in DC when I was in college in Northern Virginia…I’m surprised CUPID, which I liked enormously as well, was over fifteen years ago (when there was far less reflexive mockery of Jeremy Piven), that SEINFELD a half-decade before that (not that there’s…)…how time telescopes. Great fun, this conversation.
Caught your cameo role in SHAMELESS, Janet, also great fun…but I fear that you are perhaps getting typecast in your live-action work as The Exasperated Woman…
