  1. I hate spiders, but Shadi’s take on it was really enlightening and has made me see spiders and various bugs in my house in a different light. Yes, the spider talk was an enlightening part of this podcast.

Speaking of sportiness, Vice ran a good article about the BS trans athletes have to deal with when trying to ocmpete: https://sports.vice.com/article/heroes-martyrs-and-myths-the-battle-for-the-rights-of-transgender-athletes

    • A says:

Have you read any scientific literature on the subject? My normal google scholar techniques don’t yield any serious analysis.

  3. Tracy says:

Thank you for this frank discussion.  It was really enlightening.  I hope lots of people listen to this.  I know it’s helped me to understand trans people just a little better.

  4. PJ says:

I was never a cereal guy, always a toasts-for-breakfast kind of guy. Still am. I did like honey nut Cheerios, more as a snack on its own than in a bowl with milk. With my nuts allergies I can’t do it anymore, but technically there’s less almond extract than there’s salt in them now.
Fascinating conversation about the non-cereal part of the podcast too. 😀
