I’m only 10 minutes in and this episode with Jimmy Pardo is already as awesome as I figured it would be.

  2. Pam says:

Just wanted to say that I love the concept of your show and The Boys of Summer series is a lovely little detour from the usual format. Janet, your laid-back but insightful, and non-judgmental style of interviewing is a pleasure to listen to.
I follow a fair few podcasts and the same guests seem to do the podcast rounds, which can lead to hearing the same story multiple times. So it’s always great to hear your show as it has such a unique perspective.

  3. PJ says:

Turns out that “The Deer Hunter”‘s French title is “Voyage au bout de l’enfer” (Voyage to the end of Hell), and not “Le chasseur de cerfs” (as one might expect, or “Le chasseur de chers” to go with the podcast, though “Le chasseur de chair” would sort of work, possibly as a horror or porn flick). Sometimes those titles don’t really match up.

And I really have to look up the reliability of allergy tests. From a statistical point of view, pricking your arms (or other bits of skin) with a bunch of them is bound to produce a decent amount of false positives.
