The Heroes & Villains of STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT in Action

It has certainly been a busy November, especially with the likes of Fallout 4, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Call of Duty: Black Ops III hitting retailer shelves this month. Soon, the highly anticipated shooter Star Wars: Battlefront will also be pining for your free-time. The game is actually available for everyone who is subscribed to EA Access. But, for those that won’t have that luxury, we’ve got a better look at all of the badass heroes and villains that you’ll be able to use on your quest to dominate the battlefield.

YouTube channel, Arekkz Gaming, has posted the 5-minute video (which you can watch above) showcasing some of the combat skills that the most powerful characters in the game will have. It’s a really great look at what makes each of the beloved heroes and villains unique in terms of gameplay. Darth Vader is still a personal favorite of mine, but Palpatine certainly looks menacing. Though, there’s something noble about taking on the role of a nerf herder.

Whether you were impressed or not when you played the beta, you have to admit, watching our favorite characters duke it out is a dream come true. I’m still worried about the long-lasting appeal of this title, especially with Halo 5: Guardians and Call of Duty both providing excellent and persistence multiplayer experiences. EA will have to keep the online community engaged. Even then, there’s no doubt this title will sell gangbusters– it is Star Wars, after all.

What do you guys think about the gameplay differences? Will you be playing this game once it becomes available? Who will be your character of choice? Let us know in the comments below.
