The Hand Attacks DAREDEVIL in New Season 2 Poster

In the first season of Marvel’s Daredevil, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) barely survived a battle with a single ninja named Nobu (Peter Shinkoda). But in the upcoming second season of the Marvel series, Matt’s gonna have his hands full with more ninjas than he can handle!

As revealed in the most recently released Daredevil season 2 trailer, the Hand is making their move to control New York City’s underworld as Matt’s former lover, Elektra (Elodie Yung) enlists him in her personal war against the ninja clan. Today, Netflix revealed a new poster that depicts Daredevil in an intense battle with multiple members of the Hand. And it looks like the Man Without Fear brought his billy clubs to a sword fight!

Daredevil Season 2 New Poster Full Size

Frank Miller created the Hand in 1981 during his seminal run on the Daredevil comic, and they’ve become Marvel’s go-to Ninja bad guys. Unlike the majority of Daredevil’s foes, the Hand appear to have occult and supernatural abilities and they worship a demonic entity known as the Beast.

Back in the first season of Daredevil, the Hand’s supernatural side was teased when Stick (Scott Glenn) went out of his way to murder Black Sky, a child who wasn’t human (according to Stick). Nobu was also obsessed with a particular city block that was promised to him by Wilson Fisk. That location may be the seat of their power when season 2 begins.

All 13 episodes of Daredevil season 2 will be released on Friday, March 18.
