The Gang’s All Here for SUICIDE SQUAD’s Full Poster

This week is already pretty buck wild for press regarding Warner Bros and DC Films’ upcoming (and highly intriguing) film Suicide Squad, written and directed by David Ayer. Not only will the brand new trailer debut on Tuesday night in the middle of the Geoff Johns and Kevin Smith-hosted TV special about the DC Cinematic Universe (DC Films Present The Dawn of the Justice League airs 9:30 EST on the CW), but an armored carload of posters have surfaced. The most recent one is the big enchilada, the poster showing off the whole crew. (Click to expand.)

What movie about criminals on a mission would dare not have a poster with everybody looking up? The design of this one situates most of the characters in such a way as to become the teeth in the movie’s skull logo, with Xs for eyes. One eye, of course, has Jared Leto‘s Joker standing on it, showing both that he’s not part of the Squad itself and maybe that he pokes somebody’s eye out? Maybe Deadshot’s? Or I’m making things up.

The rest of the Suicide Squad consists of Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Slipknot (Adam Beach), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), and Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje). They all are forced to work for Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) as her Task Force X with de facto leader Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman). Batman (Ben Affleck) is also expected to appear.

This weekend saw individual character posters for each of the members of the cast (minus Waller) released on social media depicting each of them as skulls. You can find the full gallery of those below.

Suicide Squad has us almost more excited than Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice given it’s awfully early to show off all these villains. We like the people involved, and we like the guts. We’re just ready to watch it now, but we have to wait until the movie is released on August 5.

Let us know your early predictions about Suicide Squad in the comments below!
