Debuting as promised alongside tonight’s premiere episode of Marvel’s Agent Carter on ABC, the full Ant-Man teaser is everything we’d hoped for from the tiniest Avenger! We open with Michael Douglas as scientist Henry Pym addressing Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang — “Scott, I’ve been watching you for a while now.” Then… Ah, but why spoil things when you can revel in its delightfulness below. Enjoy!
What do you guys think? Amidst all the effects and derring-do, the element of family is what’s most surprising to me here. Especially in Scott’s relationship with his daughter, which is sure to mirror Pym’s relationship with his own daughter, Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne (who’s shown doing a little sparring that hopefully foreshadows her own eventual transformation into a superhero).
Marvel/Disney has also released a new poster for the film, and it’s certainly the studio’s most distinct one-sheet image yet…
And here’s the official synopsis and credits for the Peyton Reed-directed opus, due out on July 17, 2015…
The next evolution of the Marvel Cinematic Universe brings a founding member of The Avengers to the big screen for the first time with Marvel Studiosâ âAnt-Man.â Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, master thief Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world.
Marvelâs âAnt-Manâ stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang aka Ant-Man, Evangeline Lilly as Hope Van Dyne, Corey Stoll as Darren Cross aka Yellowjacket, Bobby Cannavale as Paxton, Michael Peña as Luis, Judy Greer as Maggie, Tip âTiâ Harris as Dave, David Dastmalchian as Kurt, Wood Harris as Gale, Jordi Mollà as Castillo and Michael Douglas as Hank Pym. Directed by Peyton Reed and produced by Kevin Feige, Marvelâs âAnt-Manâ delivers a high-stakes, tension-filled adventure on July 17, 2015.

^^^Oh look a version of the trailer that’s actually fun! ^^^
my classmate’s half-sister makes 67 every hour on the internet. she has been out of a job for nine months. the previous month her income was 21556 working on the internet for a few hours a day… look at this link YelpWallet.com
Another bold risk on a so-so character. Keep churning them out Marvel.
I am looking forward to the movie. I generally enjoy this kind of film when it doesn’t take itself too seriously but this trailer wasn’t my jam. Like the suit. Rudd looks good in it. The idea is a little 60’s but sounds like good fun. But I dunno, the trailer doesn’t do it. If feels like I’ve seen this trailer before with other characters doing much the same things.
Well, I’ll have to see how it shakes out in July.
Looks like Cassy Lang is in the film as well, young avengers in the future?
Little touch, but I loved how the shower curtain moved to show that the air was rushing in to fill the gap left by the shrinking Ant-Man – very cool…
I don’t know, there’s something very meh about this film to me, but that just might be due to my dislike of basically anyone who’s in it apart from Corey Stoll. Well, in Marvel we trust (for now).
Personally loved the trailer and how it seemed both ‘new’ – heist film – and yet ‘familiar’. In fact, very reminiscent of GOTG in a sense as far as the trailer being framed as “a chance to be something more”.
Also, the suit looks incredible! Even Yellowjackets looks spectacular from the render. Now we just need to see Wasp and if GiANT-Man does indeed appear. There are vague hints though

bet Michael Douglas is the villain. Every marvel trailer has the bad guy give a speech.
Michael Douglas is Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man. So no, not the villain.
Unless they do something stupid like, oh, the first Mission Impossible movie.
Well, there was one time in the comics that Hank Pym was a villain.
Yes, when he beat his wife.
Looks solid, can’t wait to see it! Of course I’m typically excited for any Marvel fare.
Wow that actually got me pretty excited for Ant-Man. Let’s go and can’t wait for Age of Ultron!
