Finally we’ll be able to visit a place with all of the zip of Nuka-Cola!
If there’s one thing Bethesda‘s good at, it’s making sure players have f. u. n. fun in their games. Fallout 4 is the prime example of this phenomenon, both with actual gameplay and the way in which it is advertised. While we’re still a bit sad that Nuka-World is going to be the game’s final add-on, the new trailer Bethesda released today is the perfect send-off. Check it out at the top of the page.
Yep, after watching that, we’re beyond excited for the expansion’s imminent release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on August 30, 2016. Amidst the attractions, mini-games and NPCs shown off in the video, we’re particularly excited about the electrified paddle ball weaponâbecause really, it’s the raider-killing device of our dreams. Also, the idea of witnessing attractions that resemble ones we’ve seen at carnivals and Disneyland, but with a apocalyptic twist is unreal, and we can’t wait.
For a taste of what’s in store, here’s the expansion’s official description (courtesy of the folks at Bethesda):
Nuka-World is a vast amusement park featuring Raider gangs and unique park zones like Safari Adventure, the World of Refreshment, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, Galactic Zone, and Nuka-Town, USA. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders factions, weapons, creatures and more. Enjoy the ride!
Based on the footage shown off, they weren’t kidding about the amusement park vibe. The Nuka-World park will even be divided into various lands. The cool thing is, players will finally have the option to become an evil raider. And what better place to live out your malevolent dreams than in a theme park?
