Anyone hoping to start their Fallout 4 journey completely fresh, with no idea of what lies in store plot-wise; you may want stop reading now and skip out on this trailer.
For those who are salivating for more details, however, Bethesda has you covered today, with the official Fallout 4 gameplay launch trailer. The launch trailer (above) gives us a peak at the female surface dweller, some of the games key locales, the crafting system, the story arc involving the Institute, some ally surface dwellers that we’ll meet during our travels, and tons of familiar foes like Raiders, Deathclaws, and Super Mutants.
A good portion of your Fallout 4 adventure will be spent uncovering the mystery behind the Institute, an establishment from the Commonwealth that manufactures androids–commonly referred to as Synths–and uses them as slaves. You may recall crossing paths with a couple of Synths in Fallout 3. The first was Harkness, the pragmatic security chief of Rivet City, and the other Armitage, Dr. Zimmer’s lethally loyal body guard and escort. With the Synths playing a far more important role this time around, I bet my bottom bottle cap that there will be some impetuous decision making that comes down to us trusting or eliminating these things.
Do you think you’ll be teaming up with the Synths, or will you be going full John Connor on these things? Are you doing the Fallout 4 launch the right way and taking the day off of work? Explore the surface of the comments section and and leave your thoughts, down below.
