THE DARK KNIGHT RISES’ Catwoman Gets Replaced By 11 Different Characters

Host Rob Paulsen isn’t just sitting down with another talented voice actor when he welcomes a guest to our Alpha series Talkin Toons’; he’s sitting down with any and every character they have ever played. That’s how Cinderella can become Grand Moff Tarkin, and Bart Simpson can transfigure into Harry Potter. But on the latest episode, guest Julie Nathanson didn’t just sub in for The Dark Knight Rises‘ Catwoman as one of her voices—she played the famous cat burglar of Gotham as 11 of them, in an absolutely incredible performance.

In this clip, Rob and Julie read the scenes between Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle from Christopher Nolan’s trilogy capper, with Rob filling in for Christian Bale as one of his favorites, Carl Wheezer from Jimmy Neutron. But it was Julie who did the really heavy lifting here, as she filled in for Anne Hathaway with an impressive and diverse set of her characters, including Chocolina from Final Fantasy and Jess Black from Far Cry.

It never ceases to amaze us how so many different people—and robots—can all live inside the head and throat of one supremely talented person. Also, we’d watch literally all 11 versions of this Catwoman.

If you want to see the rest of Rob’s interview with Julie you can only find full episodes of Talkin’ Toons at our interactive online Alpha community. It’s just one of the many great shows we have there, and if you’re not already a member your first 30 days are free, so sign up now. Now that’s a steal worthy of Catwoman. All of the Catwomen.
