Everything You Need to Know About JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK

When there’s something strange in your neighborhood, who ya gonna call? Not the Ghostbusters—at least if you’re in the DC Extended Universe. Because Warner Bros. doesn’t have the rights to Ghostbusters and the days of Who Framed Roger Rabbit are long gone. Thankfully, when something spooky, supernatural, or magical happens in the DC Universe, and the Justice League can’t handle it on their own, they have their own supergroup on which they can call: the Justice League Dark.

Created in 2011 by Peter Milligan and Mikel Janin, Justice League Dark is DC Comics’ motley crew of magicians, sorcerers, magic-users, and all manner of reality-defying heroes that come together to put a stop to otherworldly menaces. The supernatural superheroes are back in the spotlight thanks to the recent announcement that Edge of Tomorrow and The Bourne Identity’s Doug Liman will direct Dark Universe, the resurrected live action feature film adaptation of Justice League Dark that was formerly spearheaded by Guillermo del Toro. With a team rumored to include John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Etrigan the Demon, Zatanna, and Deadman, the film looks like it’s moving full steam ahead towards becoming a real thing. But many people don’t know who the Justice League Dark are or where they come from or why they should even care. Fortunately, we’re going to tell you everything you need to know about Justice League Dark on today’s episode of The Dan Cave.

What do you want to see from a Justice League Dark movie? Who would you cast in the lead roles? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
