The Biggest Happenings in Comedy Right Now 6/28/14

The fate of Community hangs in the balance this very weekend as the cast’s contracts expire this Monday. With Hulu seeming not to be an option, Sony TV is looking elsewhere. Depending if Community survives yet again, Gillian Jacobs may reprise her role as Britta or go into a new role in a new series co-written and produced by Judd Apatow. On top of all of that, some comedy festivals announced some pretty top flight line-ups coming around this summer.
